Hey, everyone! Welcome to The Blueprint. I’m Anthony LaForge, 29 as I type these words. I’m a husband to an absolute smoke show named Reagan and a proud father to our beautiful son, Adler John. Reagan and I have been rocking the married life for four amazing years, and let me tell you, I’m more in love with her today than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In all transparency, marriage and fatherhood has been my crucible for growth. Every day, I face the challenge of becoming a better man. Some days, I ace it, and on others, I stumble, but my overarching mission is to live a life wholly surrendered to God. The closer I draw to Jesus, the smoother the roles of husband, father, and friend become. Enter the “Blueprint”\u2014this blog and podcast aim to hand you a guide on navigating life through Christ to the best of your abilities. Vulnerability breeds connection, and my hope is that sharing my journey blesses and furthers your walk with Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our generation is hungry for leaders unabashedly anchored in God’s Word, living lives fully surrendered to Christ. I’m still figuring out what that looks like, and I’ll be the first to admit I don’t have it all figured out. What I do know, I’ll gladly share. I’m stepping up to the call to amplify my faith, echoing Paul’s words in Romans: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel.” How could I be? A radical encounter with Christ saved me from a dark path; battling with suicidal thoughts during my youth and early twenties, I grappled with the idea that the world might be better off without me. But God had grander plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ephesians 1 resonates deeply with me, affirming that He chose us before the world’s creation, destined us for adoption through Jesus Christ. I’ll delve into my full testimony in another blog post or podcast episode, but in a nutshell, God met me right where I was, and as I pursued Him, freedom followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To anyone struggling with life\u2014know this: there is freedom in the pursuit. The closer you draw to Him, the more vibrant life becomes. Nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus. If you’re reading this, understand that God isn’t finished with you yet. He’s still building!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, welcome to the Blueprint! Together, let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus\u2014the author of our lives and the perpetual blueprint to this beautiful journey. Let’s figure it out together! God bless you all, and I’ll catch you on the next one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
